YEG is a leading, UK based, value added distributor providing specific design-in sales and marketing services for international suppliers in the field of electronic components, power supplies, IT products and electronic manufacturing services.

We source, design-in and manufacture products to support Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Contract Electronics Manufacturers (CEMs) and we offer logistics and sub-contract assembly.

YEG started more than 30 years ago, originally as the manufacturer's agent for three Japanese companies, Nippon Chemi-Con, Taiyo Yuden and Takamisawa. With the dramatic growth in the electronic components market and subsequent reduction due to low cost manufacturing areas YEG has adapted to the changing market. We now distribute more than 40 companies products, some big, some small. The common denominator is that we add value to UK designers, developers and manufacturers.

We pride ourselves in recognising advanced products that are suitable for the UK manufacturing base. When manufacturing goes overseas we provide the same level of service, worldwide.

Together our five Divisions YEG Components, YEG Opto, YEG Powerline, YEG Locator and YEG Cabcon make up the Young Electronics Group (YEG).
